🛡️ How to Back Up Tv-Player to Cloud Using X-plore File Manager

Backing up your Tv-Player settings to the cloud lets you easily move them to another Fire TV or Android box. In this guide we’ll cover both Firestick and Onn (Android TV) devices. You’ll create a local backup in Tv-Player, then use X-plore File Manager to copy that file to a cloud service (like Google Drive or Dropbox). Later, you can restore that backup on the same device or a different one. This is beginner-friendly and designed to work on both Firestick and Onn devices.

1. From the Home screen, click the 🔍 Search icon.

2. Type X-plore, then select it from the results.

2. Search for X-plore File Manager.

3. Install the app.

2. Grant file permissions when prompted.

3. On Onn devices, go to Settings → System → Privacy → All Files Access and allow access for X-plore and Tv-Player.

2. Go to Settings → General → Backup.

3. Navigate to the Download folder and click it.

4. Tap Backup Data and hit Save. This ensures the backup file will be easy to locate in X-plore later.

• After tapping Backup, you’ll see a message requesting file access.

• This triggers Android’s security prompt.

• Go to System → Privacy → All Files Access and enable it for Tv-Player and X-plore. This allows the backup file to become visible.

The backup will be saved in your Download folder, which you can access in X-plore by going to:
Internal shared storage > Download

1. Open X-plore File Manager.

2. In the left pane, navigate to:
   Internal shared storage > Download

3. You should see a file like:
   tvp-backup-[date].tmb

   If not, confirm All Files Access is enabled and the correct folder is selected.

1. Tap Web Storage in X-plore (either left or right side).

2. Choose Add account → Dropbox or Google Drive.

3. Log into your account.

4. Set up split view:

   • Left pane: The backup folder

   • Right pane: Your Dropbox or Google Drive folder

5. Long-press the .tmb file → Copy.

6. Switch to the right pane → Paste.

   The file uploads to the cloud!

You can:

3. Navigate to the folder containing your backup.

4. Long-press the backup file → Copy, then paste it into:

5. Open Tv-Player → Settings → General → Restore Data.

6. Tap Internal Storage, go into the Download folder, and select your backup file to restore your settings and playlists.
